Courier Services
Last updated on June 5, 2025BC Mail Plus offers discounted rates for courier/shipping services via “MyShip" accounts. The MyShip courier accounts do not have any minimum usage requirements and allow customers to self-manage their ongoing shipping requirements while taking advantage of the significant rate discounts.
*****ALERT*****
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has initiated a legal strike action in the form of a nationwide overtime ban, affecting employees in both the Urban and RSMC (Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers) bargaining units. At this stage, Canada Post continues to operate; however, customers may experience delivery delays as a result of reduced workforce availability. There are no rotating strikes or full work stoppages at this time.
The BC Mail Plus inter-office mail system, i.e.HouseMail, will continue to operate as usual, with uninterrupted delivery between participating government and ministry offices.

- BC Mail Plus MySHIP Accounts are easy to set up, have web-based applications to ship and trace your parcels and documents.
How much does it cost?
- BC Mail Plus MyShip accounts are free to sign up for and there is no commitment or minimum usage fee to use the service
- MySHIP account services offer our customers savings of 25-50% (and sometimes even more) on their document and parcel shipments.
- One of the many advantages of these supply arrangements is that BC Mail Plus administers the agreements and electronically bills monthly for the services used, resulting in reduced administrative costs for your organization.
