Who can buy from this supply arrangement?

This supply arrangement is available to:

  • B.C. government ministries
  • B.C. broader public sector

What can I buy?

There are 28 packages within five categories.  See the Office Furniture CSA Summary (PDF,90KB) which shows which package is supplied by which supplier.

What do I need to know?

Note to provincial government purchasers: Furniture requirements under $1,000 may be purchased directly through the supply arrangements. Suitable, used furniture may also be available from Workplace Support Services. For furniture purchases greater than $1,000 contact Workplace Support Services.

Selection of an Offeror

  • Determine the total value of the purchase
  • When the value is over $120,000 contact the  Procurement Services Branch
  • When the value is less than $120,000 and more than $75,000 split the furniture into the categories listed below and compete among all of the suppliers in that category
  • When the value is less than $75,000 split the furniture into the categories listed below and either
    • compete among all the suppliers in that category or
    • directly award to any one of the suppliers in that category

Manufacturers and Resellers

Within each category and package, furniture products are offered from manufacturers listed below.

  • Contact the manufacturer's authorized reseller if listed
  • Contact the manufacturer directly if there is no authorized reseller
  • Product lines and discounts offered have been negotiated directly with manufacturers, authorized resellers are required to offer the stated product lines and discounts

Note that resellers change from time to time.

How do I access these services?

  • Contact the manufacturer or reseller
  • Advise that you want to purchase through the supply arrangement
  • Discuss your needs
  • Submit an order to the manufacturer or reseller for your furniture selections
  • Confirm that prices invoiced reflect discounts offered by the manufacturer
  • For B.C. broader public sector employees, identify the organization for which you work. B.C. broader public sector organizations must have registered with the Procurement Services Branch to use the supply arrangements. View the CSA User's List. If the public sector organization is not listed then view the supply arrangement eligibility guidelines or email the Procurement Services Branch.
