- B.C. government ministries

What can I buy?
- The MPS is a full service print offering that encompasses printing, copying, scanning and faxing functionality across government. The equipment, toner and associated support services are provided by the vendor via a “cost per printing” utility model.
- Stand-alone print devices/equipment is not available as this is a full service offering. Hardware cannot be purchased separately.
- As each entity has unique business needs and environments; specific requirements will need to be identified at the time of engagement with the service provider.
What do I need to know?
- The MPS fleet will be designed based on each entity’s requirements and may contain a mix of single function and multi-function devices.
- The MPS equipment, toner and associated support services are typically provided on a five-year term by the vendor, and used to determine the “cost per printing” for the fleet
- B.C. government ministries are required to utilize MPS under the Province’s Strategic Transformation and Mainframe Services (STMS) agreement
- B.C. broader public sector entities can obtain MPS directly from the vendor under the Province’s STMS agreement subject to a minimum print fleet environment to be determined
