Fraser Timber Supply Area
The Fraser timber supply area (TSA) is in the southwest corner of British Columbia’s mainland. It covers about 1.4 million hectares and includes Metro Vancouver, Chilliwack, Hope, Boston Bar and Yale. The TSA is administered from the Chilliwack Natural Resource District office in Chilliwack.
The allowable annual cut (AAC) for the Fraser TSA is 1,241,602 cubic metres, effective August 22, 2016, as a result of the surrender of TFL 63, in accordance with Section 13 of the Allowable Annual Cut Administration Regulation. Generally, a new AAC is set at least once every 10 years.
