Road notices and warnings

Holy Cross 200 FSR (Binta) (April 16, 2026)
Holy Cross 200 FSR is currently washed out at 245.5 KM with no through vehicle access. Repairs will be conducted Spring 2026 once water levels have receded.

Road closures and restrictions

Road Restriction Notice (April 14, 2026)
The attached road restriction notice became effective as of April 13, 2026 at 12:00:01am. Read the notice (PDF, 190KB)

Bobtail Tatuk FSR 1771.03 (November 2, 2023)
Bobtail Tatuk Forest Service Road is closed is at 23.5km. Bridge was damaged from wildfire and has been downrated to 0 Tonne. Bridge not safe for vehicular traffic and the road will remain closed for the foreseeable future until a new bridge can be installed.

Work in progress / upcoming works

Driftwood FSR 7822.01 - 15km Notice (Updated December 2025)
The Driftwood forest service road will be realignment from 15.1km to 16.7km commencing in Summer 2026. For more information, please read the project information flyer (PDF, 385KB)

Upper Driftwood Deactivation Project – 82 to 86 km (Summer 2026) 
To improve road user safety, the Stuart Nechako District is planning to deactivate a section of the Driftwood FSR that has been bypassed by new road construction. This work is proposed for the summer of 2026.  For more information, please read the project information flyer (PDF, 1.1MB)
