Road Closures and Restrictions

Access Restrictions

South Taylor Main - Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 10 
From 17.1 km to 22.8 km there is road construction on South Taylor Main FSR. Expect minor delays.

Maggie Lake FSR  9614 Branch 01
From 8.5 km to 12 km there is road construction. Expect delays up to 30 minutes. 

Authorized Closures

Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 381
Hucuktlis Lake FSR Branch 381 will be closed from 4 km to 10 km from July 9th to September 30th, 2025 for major culvert installations. There is no alternate access. Location of the road closure is shown in the map below:

Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 02
Canal Main Branch 02 will be closed at 34 km from August 10th to September 30th, 2025 for a bridge installation. Alternate access is Cous and Kanyon Main FSR. Please refer to the attached map.

Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 316 
Branch 316 is gated to manage over height vehicles within the airport runway airspace. 

TFL 46 Road Permit Road Temporary Gate Authorizations
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health, or public safety Teal Cedar Products Ltd has been granted permission to gate roads in TFL 46. Please refer to the following maps for authorized gate locations:

McKay Lake FSR 5833 Branch 01 - McKay Lake 
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health and public safety, TimberWest Forest Corp. has been granted permission to gate McKay Lake FSR 5833 Branch 01 at 0.8 km. The gate is open from 8 am to 6 pm 7 days a week.

South Taylor Main - Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 10 
At 11.9 km on the South Taylor Main FSR the road is down rated to 5 tonnes. For more information please contact the South Island District Engineering Officer.
