Authorized Closures

Canal Main FSR 7954 Branch 02
Canal Main will be closed at 40 km (Nahmint River) for a bridge replacement from August 1st to May 10th, 2026. Riverside Main will be open as a detour route into Henderson. Please refer to the attached map.

Banon FSR 8233 Branch 01
Beginning on May 19, 2026, the access gate to the Banon Creek Forest Service Road at the end of South Watts Road will be closed on weekdays and open on weekends and statutory holidays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For more information about the closure please reference the attached news release and gate location map.

Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 316 
Branch 316 is gated to manage over height vehicles within the airport runway airspace. 

TFL 46 Road Permit Road Temporary Gate Authorizations
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health, or public safety Teal Cedar Products Ltd has been granted permission to gate roads in TFL 46. Please refer to the following maps for authorized gate locations:

McKay Lake FSR 5833 Branch 01 - McKay Lake 
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health and public safety, TimberWest Forest Corp. has been granted permission to gate McKay Lake FSR 5833 Branch 01 at 0.8 km. The gate is open from 8 am to 6 pm 7 days a week. 

Road Permit R07660 Roads Walbran Main, WA700 and WA900 - Walbran
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health, or public safety Tsawak-qin Forestry Inc. has been granted permission to gate roads Walbran Main, WA700, and WA900 in TFL 44. These authorizations expire on June 30, 2026. Please refer to the following map for gate locations:

Road Permit R21402 Road Flora 520-1 -  Flora Lake
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health, or public safety Ditidaht Forestry Ltd. has been granted permission to gate road Flora 520-1 in Forest License A94006. This authorization expires on July 30, 2026. Please refer to the following map for gate location:
