Road Closures and Restrictions

Lucky Creek Forest Service Road 8612.01 (August 31, 2026 to September 20, 2026)
The Lucky Creek Forest Service Road will be closed from the junction with Toquaht Forest Service Road from August 31, 2026 until September 20, 2026 due to pending bridge replacements. View the closure map (PDF, 370KB).

Marion Creek FSR 9229 (September 1, 2026 to October 3, 2026)
The Marion Creek FSR will be closed at 6.3 km from September 1, 2026 to October 3, 2026 due to a bridge replacement.  The 5040 trailhead is located approximately 3 km further along the road from the bridge site.

Maggie FSR 9614 Branch 1 (August 17, 2026 to August 27, 2026)
The Maggie FSR will be closed at 11 km from August 17, 2026 to August 27, 2026 due to major culvert installations.  Alternate access will be available through Barkley Main (Maggie Br. 04) from Ucluelet.

Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 2 (Canal Main) (August 17 to September 25, 2026)
Canal Main Branch 2 will be closed at 41 km from August 17, 2026 to September 25, 2026.  Alternate route is Riverside Main.

Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 381 (Hucuktlis Main) (June 19 to September 18, 2026)
Hucuktlis Main Branch 381 will be closed at 9.4 km from June 19, 2026 to September 18, 2026. No alternative route or access.

Banon FSR 8233 Branch 01
Beginning on May 19, 2026, the access gate to the Banon Creek Forest Service Road at the end of South Watts Road will be closed on weekdays and open on weekends and statutory holidays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For more information about the closure please reference the attached news release and gate location map.

Nahmint FSR 7954 Branch 316 
Branch 316 is gated to manage over height vehicles within the airport runway airspace. 

TFL 46 Road Permit Road Temporary Gate Authorizations
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health, or public safety Teal Cedar Products Ltd has been granted permission to gate roads in TFL 46. Please refer to the following maps for authorized gate locations:

McKay Lake FSR 5833 Branch 01 - McKay Lake 
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health and public safety, TimberWest Forest Corp. has been granted permission to gate McKay Lake FSR 5833 Branch 01 at 0.8 km. The gate is open from 8 am to 6 pm 7 days a week. 

Road Permit R07656 Roads KMU - Klanawa
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health, or public safety HFN Forestry LP has been granted permission to gate road KMU within the First Nations woodland Licence N1A. This authorization expires on December 31, 2026.

Road Permit R07660 Roads Walbran Main, WA700 and WA900 - Walbran
In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act Section 22.2 where use of the road would likely endanger property, public health, or public safety Tsawak-qin Forestry Inc. has been granted permission to gate roads Walbran Main, WA700, and WA900 in TFL 44. These authorizations expire on December 31, 2026. Please refer to the following map for gate locations:
