​Farnham Non-Status Bridge (November 22, 2024)
Farnham Non-Status Bridge has been permanently removed at 50o 26’ 00” 116o 30’ 08” and a Ford through the stream channel has been constructed for 4x4 high clearance vehicles.

Frances Creek FSR 0276.01  (September 15, 2022)
Compromised road surface due to erosion of road edge where the road is close to the creek. Drive at your own risk.

Kootenay-Albert FSR 0105.07 (May 24, 2024)
Avalanche path at 56.1km has washout road surface and is considered unstable. Drive at your own risk, high clearance with 4x4 required.

Road closures and restrictions

Flathead Main FSR 0030.01 (August 2024)
Closed from the 87 km mark (~10 km south of Corbin townsite) to the 84 km mark (~13 km south of Corbin townsite) due to multiple washouts, including two washed out/condemned bridges.

Mark Creek Main FSR 0252.20 (May 2018)
Closed to non-industrial traffic. This closure, and accompanying gate, was approved to protect public health and safety, and to reduce the risk of significant sediment delivery to Mark Creek.

  • Mark Creek Main FSR is the access to the Mark Creek Community Watershed, which provides water for the City of Kimberley.

McClatchie Creek FSR 5466.06 (August 2024)
Bridge has been removed (N1-107) at 57km, at the Flathead River, due to bridge washout. This site is located ~3.5 km west of the junction of the Flathead Main FSR and the north end of the McClatchie Creek FSR.

Bridge has been removed (N1-108) at 57km, at Squall Creek, due to bridge washout. This site is located near the junction of the Flathead Main FSR and the north end of the McLatchie Creek FSR.

White Creek FSR 0252.10  (October 13, 2023)
ATV bridge at 12.4km is closed due to rot in all wood components. Bridge at 5.4km has been repaired for regular vehicle access.

Work in progress / upcoming work

Spillimacheen-South Fork FSR 7752.02 (July 14 - August 15, 2025)
Bridge Replacement at 40.6 km on Spillimacheen-South Fork FSR starting on July 14th to August 15th, 2025. Expect minor delays. There is a public vehicle access bridge at site to cross Bobby Burns Creek.
