Statement of Financial Information
Last updated on April 14, 2026School Districts are corporations as explained in Schedule 1 of the Financial Information Act.
For consistency with the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act respecting Public Accounts reporting, a Statement of Financial Information (SOFI) must be submitted by each school district within six months following the corporation's fiscal year end.

Statements
- The BC Legislative Library retains previous years' Statements of Financial Information submitted by school districts via the ministry, and school districts may be contacted to obtain their statements. In the event of any discrepancy between a statement presented on this page and one obtained directly from a district, the district document should be considered representative.
- The Ministry of Education and Child Care compiles the statements annually. Presented here for the public's downloading convenience are Statements of Financial Information (SOFI) for the sixty entities reporting under the ministry as per the Financial Information Act for the 2024/2025 School District Fiscal Year.
