CMS Lite rich text editor

The CMS Lite content editor toolbar in the rich text (WYSIWYG) editor offers a range of tools like text formatting, multimedia insertion, and link creation, making it easy to create and modify content.

Rich text is also known as WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).

Content templates contain both text fields and rich text fields. Rich text fields are easily identifiable by the toolbar above the editing field.

Hover over any icon in the image above to display a tooltip for the following: 

  • Cut and copy 1
  • Paste, paste plain text and paste from Word
  • Undo and redo
  • Search and replace text
  • Select all
  • Bold, italic and strikethrough
  • Superscript and subscript
  • Remove formatting
  • Insert a horizontal line and special characters
  • Paragraph and heading formatting
  • Maximize the screen2
  • Show block elements

1Browser security does not allow the use of the cut and copy icons - use Crtl+X and Crtl+V (Cmd on a Mac).

The action button [Save] is not available in the maximized screen. Minimize the screen to access all of the action buttons on the content pane.

If you maximize the text editor screen and do not see the toolbar at the top of your display, you will need to refresh your browser (F5) to return to the Content Pane.
