The winery’s signature product is a flagship red blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, petit verdot and malbec, fermented in small lots, spending at least 18 months in French Oak Barriques, and at least six months in bottle prior to release. This wine is known as “one of B.C.’s best” and consistently scores 90+ points.

They also offer a premium white Capella that is a blend of 90% sauvignon blanc, 10% semillon. The whites are whole cluster pressed, with select lots fermented in barrel for a 12-18 months maturation process in stainless steel tanks before bottling and release.

The 2011 vintage of this wine won a Gold Medal at the B.C. Wine Awards in 2013 and was named Best White Wine overall. Clos du Soleil also offers award-winning rosé, fumé blanc and pinot blanc varieties, as well as an estate reserve in small quantities, and their award winning Saturn, a delicious late harvest sauvignon blanc, which recently won best dessert wine in Canada at the Intervin International Wine Awards.

Established in 2006 in Keremeos, Clos du Soleil is led by a small group of international business people that fell in love with the Similkameen Valley and are passionate about capturing its unique terroir. Their goal from the start has been to produce elegant, age-worthy wines with a philosophy borrowed from the finest Bordeaux vineyards. The vineyard is certified organic and is working towards biodynamic certification, and the company’s white wines and top tier reds are vegan friendly. They have designed their Grower’s Series to give back to the local community by highlighting independent grape growers.
