CFP markets and exports fruits grown in B.C. with their “Big Taste” branding that assures customers they are getting the company’s best tasting fruit. The company specializes in juicy, fresh Fraser Valley grown berries, including blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries. They also offer a variety of fruits grown in the Okanagan, including: sweet and succulent pears; a wide range of apple varieties, including ambrosia, fuji, pink lady and royal gala; sweet and sour coronation grapes; and various stone fruits, including apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines and prune plums.

The company works closely with their farmers to ensure the best tasting fruit makes its way to the end customer. All products packed under the CFP label are consolidated from seven packinghouses in the Fraser Valley and five packinghouses in the Okanagan Valley, which are Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and GAP certified for fresh and frozen product, to ensure product safety.

CFP was established in Vancouver in 1993, before moving to Kelowna in 2002. Founded by former president Brian Messent, CFP helped grow the B.C. blueberry industry by establishing many of the packing operations in the province. Today they are one of the largest distributors of  these prized berries. CFP looks to be a leader in sustainability by using technologies such as controlled atmosphere rooms that lower impacts the environment.
