BCfresh Vegetables Inc. (BCfresh) is one of Western Canada’s premier providers of locally-grown vegetables.

Representing a group of 65+ family farms from throughout the Fraser Valley, select B.C. regions and other premier growing areas across North America, BCfresh is a year-round supplier of high quality, fresh, and nutritious vegetables, including: potatoes; carrots; cabbages; beets; winter and summer squash; parsnips; rutabagas; turnips; brussel sprouts; rhubarb; sweet corn; shallots; onions; green beans; broccoli; English peas; kalettes, leeks; and garlic. All farms and warehouses are annually audited to meet or exceed CanadaGAP standards to ensure product safety. 

Established in 1992 in Delta, BCfresh is a 100% grower-owned and operated company, focused on delivering fresh produce to retail, wholesale and food service customers. The company was started by a group of like-minded local farm families, who made good business relationships the cornerstone of their strategy. A few of the family farms they source from have been in operation for up to six generations and have been established in Delta since the 1890’s.

BCfresh’s 31 shareholder farm families produce 100% of their delicious vegetables in the Fraser Valley. Produce grown in B.C. has the earliest start of any crop in Canada, and with their high-tech storage facilities, BCfresh ensures consistent and high quality vegetables are available well into the winter months, with many crops available almost year round. They also implement sustainability practices such as integrated pest management, using crop consultants to ensure maximum yields with minimal inputs, and laser-levelled fields that balance irrigation to reduce overall water usage. BCfresh is also a strong supporter of local food banks.
