Program Overview

The Extreme Weather Preparedness for Agriculture (EWP) Program offers farm and ranch businesses a provincial cost-share funding opportunity to increase farm-level climate resilience to extreme weather events.

The program offers funding under four streams:

• Wildfire Preparedness Stream
• Flood Preparedness Stream
• Extreme Heat Preparedness Stream
• Innovation Projects

The 2024 Extreme Weather Preparedness for agriculture Program

• Applications are now closed, and the program is delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation
• Applications may reopen in 2024/2025 depending on available program funds.
