Congratulations on reaching the point of your career where you are applying for articles. The choice of where you spend your articling year is one not to be taken lightly, and will serve as the foundation of your legal career. With that perspective, we at the Attorney General’s office are confident that students who article here are provided with the support, training and experience to provide the foundation for an excellent legal career.

Students who article with the Attorney General’s office will receive training in substantive areas of law, as well as learn how to effectively manage their time and files and learn how to provide effective client service while upholding the excellent standard of legal service expected of the Attorney General.  Students will receive opportunities to practice in a variety of legal environments, continued support and mentoring opportunities, and are trusted with complicated, challenging work that develops their legal skills to take their place among the best lawyers in the profession.
