To maintain care and control of your passenger transportation licence, you must advise the Registrar of updates to this material.
Vehicle Documentation
You must provide documents for each vehicle you register for your passenger transportation service.
Safety Requirements
If the proposed service meets the requirements, the applicant must demonstrate they have met all the safety requirements before a licence is issued.
Applicants from outside of B.C.
Out-of-province applicants need authorization from their home jurisdiction to operate as a commercial passenger carrier beyond the boundaries of their home province or state.
Record Check Certificates
Drivers of taxis, limousines, or ride-hail vehicles must have a Record Check Certificate issued to them by the company they drive for.
