Provincial Clinical Viewers

The following provincial clinical viewers are available to community care providers who are providing/supporting direct patient care in clinics that are not operated by the health authority.

CareConnect, Provincial eHealth Viewer

Overview of Service

CareConnect, the Provincial eHealth Viewer, is a secure, view-only Electronic Health Record that delivers patient-centric information to support care providers in the delivery of direct patient care. It provides access to an integrated, provincial view of clinical information (e.g. labs, imaging, clinical documents, immunizations from across all Health Authorities and some community sources).

CareConnect is widely used within six health authorities across the province. Through a phased approach, expansion of CareConnect access to community care providers (e.g. physicians, nurse practitioners, community pharmacists, midwives, and allied health) across the province is currently underway.

For more information or to request access, please visit the CareConnect website or email CareConnect@phsa.ca.

Unifying Clinical Information (UCI) Viewer

It provides access to an integrated, provincial view of clinical information (e.g. labs, imaging, clinical documents, immunizations).
