Southeast Fire Centre bans and restrictions

Prohibitions apply to all public and private land, unless specified otherwise. Please check with your local government authorities for any other restrictions and assess conditions before lighting any fire.

View all bans and restrictions for the Southeast Fire Centre, located in Castlegar and extending from the U.S. border to Mica Dam and from the Okanagan Highlands/west side of the Monashee Mountains to the B.C./Alberta border.

Current Southeast fire prohibitions

There are currently no fire bans in effect. Before lighting a fire of any size, please check with your local jurisdiction (municipality, First Nations, etc.) as they may have their own restrictions in place.

There are no area restrictions currently in effect.
