The Southeast Fire Centre is located in Castlegar and extends from the U.S. border to Mica Dam and from the Okanagan Highlands/west side of the Monashee Mountains to the B.C./Alberta border.

BC Wildfire Service fire ban

There are currently no open fire prohibitions in effect in the Southeast Fire Centre.


BC Wildfire Service prohibitions (fire bans) and restrictions apply to all land described in the legal order. Municipalities are responsible for regulating open fire within their boundaries, so please check with your local government before lighting any fire.
