View all bans and restrictions for the Northwest Fire Centre, which stretches from the west coast to just west of Endako and from the Yukon border to Tweedsmuir Provincial Park.
Current Northwest fire prohibitions
Effective at 12 p.m.(noon) Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, March 28, 2024, Category 2 and Category 3 open fires will be prohibited across the Bulkley Fire Zone and Nadina Fire Zone, which includes the Nadina Forest District and the Skeena portion of the Skeena/Stikine Forest District.
Before lighting a fire of any size, please check with your local jurisdiction (municipality, First Nations, etc.) as they may have their own restrictions in place.
