Application of the Adaptable Dwelling Unit Provisions in the 2024 BC Building Code (PDF, 619.1KB)
This bulletin provides information about the revised application for adaptable dwelling unit provisions in the BC Building Code. Ministerial Order No. BA 2025 01 (PDF, 435.8KB) requires one in 5 units to be adaptable dwelling units in:
- Large apartment buildings
- The first floor of small apartment buildings
