Notification preferences

Notifications are sent by email and/or text (SMS) from Health Gateway. Notifications let you know when some types of records are available to view in your Health Gateway account.

Updating your contact information

You can update your email address or cell phone number in your Health Gateway profile.

  • You must use a web browser on a computer or mobile device
  • You cannot make these changes in the Health Gateway mobile app

Finding your profile

  1. Log in to Health Gateway
  2. Click your profile icon (your initials in a grey circle at the top right of the screen)
  3. Select “Edit” beside your Email Address or Cell Number
  4. Enter your updated information

After you update your information:

Email address

  • Health Gateway sends an email asking you to confirm your new address
  • Once your email address shows as “Verified,” you can receive email notifications

Cell phone number

  • Health Gateway sends a text message asking you to confirm your new number
  • Once your cell number shows as “Verified,” you can receive text notifications

Updating your notification preferences

You can turn notifications on or off in your Health Gateway profile.

  • You must use a web browser on a computer or mobile device
  • You cannot change notification preferences in the Health Gateway mobile app

Changing your notification preferences

  1. Log in to Health Gateway.
  2. Click your profile icon (your initials in a grey circle at the top right of the screen).
  3. Find the Notifications section in your profile.
  4. Use the toggle button to turn notifications on or off.
