Dependents

Last updated on February 6, 2024

You can add your child or dependent 11 years and younger to your own Health Gateway account. You will be able to see their:

  • Immunization records, including history and recommendations
  • COVID-19 test results

Your dependent's other health records are currently not available in Health Gateway. Find out other ways to get them.

To add your child to your Health Gateway account, make sure:

  • Your child is 11 years or younger
  • You’re using their BC Services Card, not a CareCard
  • You’ve typed their full name exactly as it appears on their BC Services Card, including any middle names. Also try entering their full name using all capital letters
  • Your mobile device is not adding extra spaces when completing the online form. You could try using a laptop or desktop computer instead

If you are still unable to add your child, email us at HealthGateway@gov.bc.ca.

You can't access your dependent's health records once they turn 12 years old. Anyone 12 and older can set up their own account.
