Cystic Fibrosis (Plan D)

- Eligible digestive enzymes — 100% coverage under Plan D
- Certain vitamins, nutritional supplements and hypertonic saline solutions and sterile water — covered under Plan C, Plan F or Plan W or Fair PharmaCare
Items must be purchased at a pharmacy counter to be eligible for coverage.
People registered with a provincial cystic fibrosis clinic receive Plan D coverage.
Everyone in B.C. is encouraged to register for Fair PharmaCare.

After you register with a clinic, the clinic contacts PharmaCare to arrange coverage for you. There may be a delay between your clinic registration and PharmaCare coverage. Coverage cannot be provided retroactively.
