This Learning Site provides you and your organization with useful information to support your delivery of high quality care and service to children, youth and families accessing Specialized Homes and Support Services.  Key resources include:  

  1. Service Provider Operational Policy (PDF, 1MB) and Service Provider Operational Policy Appendices (PDF, 1MB) – policy for delivering SHSS services
  2. SHSS Agreement Templates – contracts and associated schedules outlining the services to be provided, outcomes, performance management, cost structures, and other important terms and conditions. These are found with their relevant topics, as well as on the SHSS Resources at a Glance Page

Information on Indigenous Child and Family Services Agencies (ICFS Agencies) setting up SHSS resources and sharing SHSS resources with MCFD under development.

For questions related to the Specialized Services Portal, please contact the Provincial Centralized Services Center at 1-855-835-6233.  OR Join a drop-in session held by the SHSS System Support team. Drop-In sessions occur every Wednesday from 11:00-11:30. Download the calendar invite (.ICS) file.  Open the .ICS file to import it to your calendar in Outlook.
Please note: Drop-In Sessions are not held on statutory holidays.
