Each liquor or cannabis licence is assigned an inspector based on their location and region in the province. Inspectors work within the compliance and enforcement division of the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) to make sure licensees, permittees, and applicants follow:

Inspectors conduct education sessions with licensees and regularly visit licensed establishments through routine inspections. Sometimes inspections are required for a licence or application to be approved.
