Sending PDF Transcripts

You can send your official PDF transcript through the StudentTranscripts Service to a designated email address. You set a security question and then we send them your downloadable official PDF transcript.

Before you Start

  1. Ask if your recipient can accept password protected PDF transcripts from the Ministry of Education and Child Care
  2. Then you will need:
    1. The name and email address of your recipient
    2. To create a security question and answer for the recipient to verify their identity 
      • Tips
        • You may wish to agree on a question and answer with the recipient before you submit your order.
        • The question and answer cannot include any personal information (name, birth date, etc.) or it won't work.

Sending your Transcript

From the StudentTranscripts Service (STS), login to access the Dashboard then:

  1. Select “Send/Order Your Transcript”
  2. Choose “Send Transcript to Designated Email Address by PDF download”
  3. All PDF transcripts cost $10.00 CAD each

Receiving PDF Transcript

After you complete your order, an email with instructions will be sent to your authorized recipient.

Please make sure the recipient knows the following (you may wish to send them a link to this page or cut and paste this information in an email):

  • The PDF will be available for 7 days after you have completed your order.
  • The recipient must use a computer to open and save your PDF transcript. Do not use a mobile device. The document will not save properly on cell phones and tablets, and it will need to be ordered again. Troubleshoot the link not working by copying and pasting it into a new browser window.
  • The document cannot be forwarded, or it will lock and need to be ordered again.
  • If the wrong password is entered 3 times, the document will lock and need to be reordered again.
