Public Service Internship Program

The Public Service Internship Program provides recent university and college graduates with direct work experience and an orientation to government. The program encourages recent post-secondary graduates to consider a career in public service.

The program also provides an opportunity to rehire BC Public Service co-op alumni after graduation as public service interns.

Eligibility requirements

Interns hired under this program must have completed a relevant academic program within 12 months prior to applying. Relevant academic programs: two-year diploma, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or doctorate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada.
