Rehabilitative trial
Last updated: April 17, 2018
When a BC Public Service employee has been absent for health-related reasons (illness or injury), a return to work on a trial basis is often required for rehabilitative purposes.
This provides an opportunity for the employee to return to work on a gradual basis and/or to perform alternate duties.
The rehabilitative trial is an important step for the employee to return on a permanent basis.
A rehabilitative trial is a chance to access the skills of an employee from different part of your ministry, or another ministry.
