Return statuses

Each period has a return status. The return status can be:

  • Overdue: a return for the period has not been filed before its due date. It is now considered late and may be subject to penalties and interest
  • Multiple Returns: there are multiple returns due for the same period
  • Generated: a return is available to be submitted
  • Submitted: a return has been submitted. If the return detail page says Processing, then the return is being processed through our system or is being reviewed by the program area
  • Completed: a return has been received and processed
  • Withdrawn: a return has been submitted then cancelled
  • Not Submitted: a return for the period has been saved, but not submitted
