Justice Access Centre (JAC) services are available in-person or virtually (through phone or videoconference). 

In-person services are available during the centre's hours of operation.

Services

Family Justice Centres and Justice Access Centres operate across the province. They are staffed by Family Justice Counsellors who can assist you with issues related to separation and divorce. They provide services free of charge to parents and other family members.

Family Justice Counsellors can provide a full range of services both in person or virtually through telephone and video conferencing. Virtual services are available for families who are separated by distance.

Justice Access Centres have staff to assist you with family law issues relating to separation and divorce. Staff can help assess what you need, provide information about your legal and related issues and refer you to services and resources that are available for your situation, including:

  • Legal information for family law issues
  • Dispute resolution and mediation options
  • Staffed self-help resource rooms and information services
  • Public computer terminals and a printer for legal documents
  • Referral to community resources and agencies
