Value chain innovation

Feed BC’s value chain innovation strategy supports new business relationships that connect demand with existing and new British Columbian (B.C.) food and beverage products.

Highlights include:

• A ministry value chain innovation service to promote demand-driven B.C. product innovation and market opportunities
• The Feed BC Directory is a searchable food and beverage product database connecting B.C. commercial and institutional buyers with B.C. producers and processors.
• Ongoing guidance and advice from Feed BC’s industry standing committee: Feed BC Value Chain Advisory Group
• Feed BC partnership with Sysco Canada (Kelowna) to grow the B.C. food product options available to B.C. health facilities, other public institutions
• Business-to-business initiatives including ‘product pitch sessions’ to connect the food needs of public institutions with new B.C. food products and suppliers
