Communicate government policies and programs

Web standards for the B.C. government

All web content created for the B.C. government must:

Follow our Web Style Guide
Meet the most current version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level AA. WCAG can be hard to understand, use our Simplified WCAG guide to help you apply them to your work
Be written in plain language and aim for a Grade 8 reading level or lower

Web authority

Government Digital Experience (GDX) sets the standard for web content with the authority described in Core Policies and Procedures Manual (CPPM) Chapter 22.
