As the original stewards of the lands we now call British ColumbiaIndigenous Peoples offer important insights and knowledge which is essential to effective climate adaptation and climate change mitigation.

Indigenous Peoples are uniquely impacted by climate change and are essential partners in climate action. B.C. is strengthening our collaborative processes and deepening our partnerships with Indigenous Peoples in order to work together towards climate adaptation and mitigation.
