Apply to share your Continuous Water Data

We are accepting the following types of continuous (time-series) water data:

  • hydrometric
  • water quality
  • groundwater
  • snow

Steps to signing up:

  1. Review the data formats accepted
     
  2. Read and sign the Data Sharing Agreement (.PDF). Scan the signed agreement as a .PDF document for upload in step 3
  3. Complete the online application form with your contact/data owner information, data location information, time series information, and upload the signed data agreement .PDF document.

Once submitted, we will review your application and contact you if we have any questions. We will contact you to arrange for the most efficient method of data transfer to our Real-time Data Water Tool.

What are we going to do with your data?

Water data and information submitted to the province will be publicly available on the Real-Time Water tool and the DataBC Data Catalogue, consistent with B.C.'s Open Information and Open Data Policy
