Well reports

Under the Groundwater Protection Regulation, the well driller or person responsible is required to submit well reports/records within 90 days after completion of drilling, altering, or decommissioning of a well to the Comptroller of Water Rights. Well reports form the basis of the well record.

To request physical report forms please contact groundwater@gov.bc.ca and/or the groundwater data specialist.

Well Pump Forms

Pump installers can use the following reports when installing a pump to record the relevant information.  Pump installation reports do not need to be submitted to the Ministry.
