These guidelines are for excluded managers only. Employees should contact their respective union for assistance.
The appeal process
When an appeal cannot be resolved through discussion between an employee and a supervisor, the employee can submit a formal classification appeal through their union. Appeals are handled according to the processes defined in the BCGEU and PEA collective agreements.
The appeal process is time sensitive. If you receive an appeal form from your employee, contact us immediately for assistance. We'll put you in touch with a classification specialist who will help you navigate the appeal process.
