Family Justice Centres operate across the province with staff available to assist you with issues related to separation or divorce.

You can also call Service BC toll free between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and ask the operator to transfer you. If there is no location near you, call 1-844-747-3963 to access Family Justice Counsellor services.

Early Resolution Registry and Family Justice Registry locations

Families do not need to be proceeding to court to access Family Justice services at any centre. However, Family Justice Centres and Justice Access Centres do provide services that are part of the Provincial Court process (under the Provincial Court Family Rules). For families involved with the Provincial Family Court, please note:

  • Victoria and Surrey Provincial Family Court registries are Early Resolution Registries and early resolution services are provided through specific offices noted above.
  • Vancouver (Robson Square), Nanaimo and Kelowna Provincial Family Court registries are Family Justice Registries and family justice services are provided through specific office locations noted above.
  • Provincial Family Court registries that are not Early Resolution Registries or Family Justice Registries are Parenting Education Registries (requiring the completion of a Parenting After Separation course for most parties with family law matters).
