AutoCAD Resources

AutoCAD is a software drafting tool that has been used in road survey and design projects for the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. Civil 3D has now replaced AutoCAD for plans production purposes for highway design projects.

The set of files supplied for use with Civil 3D, the "technical package", is now also compatible with AutoCAD and can be accessed from the Civil 3D web page.

Ministry supplied files contain, in part, drawings, drawing templates, title pages, title blocks, symbols, fonts, linetypes, plot style tables, a customized AutoCAD menu and a set of LISP and Visual Basic macros that will be useful for the preparation of plan, profile and cross-section drawings to ministry specifications.
