Applications - Small Communities Fund

UPDATE:  The New Building Canada Fund -  Small Communities Fund program is fully committed and no longer accepting applications.  

Eligible applicants may submit one application per intake.  Applications not approved from first intake may be re-submitted online. This will count towards the limit on the number of applications submitted during this intake.

Regional districts may submit one application per intake for each community in their area. Community is defined as a settlement area within a regional district electoral area or an established or proposed service area.

Before submitting an application, please refer to the Small Communities Fund Program Guide and the Category Specific Supplements.  These documents will contain additional information that will help support the review and ranking of each application.

How to Submit Applications

Applications are submitted through the New Building Canada Fund – Small Communities Fund online Application Form.

You must have a BCeID account to access the online application form. To set up your BCeID account and for tips on completing the application form refer to the Instructions and Tips (PDF) prior to accessing the application form.  

Complete the online application form. Submit supporting documentation as indicated below.

Please note:  a completed application requires a signed certification form that can be submitted by email or mail.

Brownfield Redevelopment, Connectivity and Broadband, Disaster Mitigation Infrastructure, Highways and Major Roads, Innovation, Local and Regional Airports; Public Transit, Short Sea Shipping, Shortline Rail
