Freshwater fishing licence sales are moving to WILD as of the 2026-27 licence year. Anglers can now register for a Fish and Wildlife ID (FWID).

2025-26 fishing licences remain available in E-Licensing.

Hunting and trapping in B.C. is regulated by law and the majority of hunters and trappers must be licenced to harvest game animals.

Freshwater fishing opportunities are available across the province. Angling is regulated by law in B.C. and the majority of anglers must be licenced.
