Grants from Civil Forfeiture Proceeds
October 11, 2019 – Applications are now being accepted for one-time funding from the Civil Forfeiture Crime Prevention and Remediation Grant program (see News Release – October 11, 2019)
The Civil Forfeiture Crime Prevention and Remediation Grant Program provides one-time funding to crime prevention and remediation projects that align with priority funding streams chosen on an annual basis. This year’s call for grant applications is open from October 11 to November 18, 2019.
For full details about the application process, please see the Application Guide. Once you have reviewed the guide, and decided what stream you will apply for, you can then access the grant application forms using the links listed below:
- Crime Prevention
- Indigenous Healing and Rebuilding
- Restorative Justice
- Addressing Violence against Women – Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
- Domestic Violence Prevention / Intervention Programming for those who commit violence in intimate partner relationships.
- Human Trafficking, Sexual Exploitation and Vulnerable Women in the Sex Trade
- Child and Youth Advocacy Centres
All applications must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019. Late applications will not be accepted.
In order to assist you in developing your grant application, we will be hosting a webinar on “How to Apply for a Civil Forfeiture Grant” on Wednesday, October 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (PST).
