What kind of action can BC Family Maintenance Agency (BCFMA) take to collect payments?

Many payors will never fall behind in their payments and collection action will not be necessary.

If a payor falls into arrears and further action is necessary, federal and provincial laws give BCFMA the authority to use a number of measures, depending on how much money is owing, and what the payor's current situation is.
