How to file court documents in the event of a work disruption at Canada Post:

  • Provincial Court registries accept filings at the applicable court registry in person, using fax filing (under GEN 01 Fax Filing Registries – Family and Small Claims), or using Court Services Online where available. Email filing will also be accepted where court rules, legislation, or practice directions allow.
  • For the filing of time-sensitive documents, you can submit documents via Court Services Online (CSO) where this service is available.
  • Alternatively, documents can be submitted in person, by private services of a registry filing agent or by courier.
