Silva supports sustainable forest management by collecting essential data required under the Forest and Range Practices Act, including information on harvesting activities, natural disturbances, non-timber resources, planting, stocking standards, tree species, and wildfire risk mitigation. It also assists various government-funded programs in managing landbase investments across British Columbia.
Silva is gradually replacing the Reporting Silviculture Updates and Land Status Tracking System (RESULTS). During this phased rollout, users will need to switch between Silva and RESULTS. RESULTS will be retired once Silva is fully operational.

Please note: Silva is currently view-only with limited functionality. For full access to silviculture data, submissions, and updates, please continue using RESULTS.
