In 2025 we launched the new Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Portal. This replaces the outdated Transportation Fuels Reporting System. The new portal improves regulatory efficiency and enhances user experience. It also ensures alignment with the Low Carbon Fuels Act and Regulations.
The LCFS Portal is an online platform that enables organizations to easily manage their compliance obligations, Initiative Agreements, credit transfers, and other essential functions critical to the effective administration and operation of the LCFS.

Registration can take time. If you have compliance obligations, start this process well before the March 31st reporting deadline.
Your organization must first register for a Business BCeID. Each user who needs access to the LCFS Portal will also need their own individual Business BCeID account.
If you need help the BCeID Help Desk can answer questions about the registration process and help with other BCeID account issues.
The initial user from your organization must request access to the LCFS Portal by submitting Portal Registration Form A. If your organization does not have compliance obligations use Form B.
