The CleanBC Go Electric Advanced Research and Commercialization (ARC) Program is designed to support the development of companies operating in the zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) sector, and to encourage international investment in the ZEV sector in British Columbia.
The concept of the ARC Program was designed in response to recommendations in the 2016 Clean Energy Vehicle Economic Opportunities Assessment report. Currently, the ARC Program provides targeted and reliable commercialization support for the research, development and demonstration of B.C.-based technologies, with the intention to build on strengths and eliminate barriers for companies in the sector.
Accordingly, ARC Program investments are intended to:
· Address specific British Columbia ZEV sector challenges;
· Showcase B.C. technologies that have a strong potential for international market demand;
· Support pre-commercial ZEV sector technologies; and
· Demonstrate commercial success for ZEV sector technologies.
