Go Electric Education & Outreach

According to a World Wildlife Fund report (PDF, 3.2MB), British Columbia has the highest public awareness of electric vehicles in Canada.

The Go Electric Program supports communities and related organizations in delivering public education and awareness compaigns related to electric vehicles under a common brand, Emotive.

Emotive is a public outreach campaign that raises awareness of electric vehicles in B.C.


The Emotive campaign is administered by the Fraser Basin Council, and partners include:

  • Communities
  • Businesses
  • Electric vehicle interest groups
  • Electric vehicle owners
