Home and Workplace Charging

The Province, in partnership with BC Hydro and FortisBC, is providing rebates for the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers for single-family homes, multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs), and workplaces across British Columbia (B.C.) through the CleanBC Go Electric Home and Workplace Charging Program (the Program). The Province is also funding rebate offers for MURBs that want to become EV Ready, which supports the planning and the electrical upgrades needed to provide a minimum of one electrified parking space per residential unit.

Rebate offers are delivered by BC Hydro and FortisBC on behalf of the Province. Rebates are available on a first-come first-serve basis while funding lasts and rebate offers promoted by the utilities may vary based on program demand. Indigenous individuals, communities, and businesses are eligible for increased rebates for some of the program offers. Please visit the CleanBC Go Electric offerings for Indigenous communities and businesses page for more information.
