Theme pages are mainly used for navigation and work well at levels 2 and 3. If you use them at a level lower than 3, they won't show any content

Topic pages are used for main content and are typically used at level 3 or below in the information architecture (IA). These are the most common pages you'll work with when creating and editing content.

Service Journey Builder is a template available for external content only, it’s not available for use on the intranet at this time.
The features listed below affect how your ministry's intranet looks and works. Only the assigned site owner should use them. Subject matter experts should not edit these features. To control access to these pages, learn more about security groups.
This node allows you to populate the information included on your intranet’s header.
To customize your hamburger menu, add a list of links under the tab titled 'Admin Links'.
When you can, skip words like 'the' or 'a' at the start of list items. Put keywords at the beginning of each bullet point for better clarity.
The footer will populate your level 2 pages under the title ‘Services and Information Topics’, you cannot edit this title.
You have the option to include other custom links, such as:
A 403 page is shown when users are denied access to protected content. Keep the default text but add your site's contact information.
404 pages appear when a page has been deleted, is temporarily unavailable, or when a human-readable URL has been changed. Keep the default message and add your site's contact details. You may also include links to relocated or updated content.
This is the main search page for your site. Consult with GDX if you have questions or requests.
Site-wide alerts should be used only occasionally and for a limited time. They’re similar to page alerts but appear at the top of every single page on your site. When used thoughtfully they attract attention, but if they're used too often, they lose their impact. They’re not a replacement for a home page carousel and should only be used for information that impacts every single visitor to your site.

Your ministry intranet should only include final versions and static information that's ready to share with staff. It’s not a collaborative space for draft content.
MS Teams is recommended for collaborative file sharing. You can set permission in Teams to allow any user with an IDIR to edit a file.
