Our case studies highlight the successes we've had helping clients across government redesign their services. Learn about a project's context, the approach the team used, the outcomes, and explore the project artefacts.

Featured projects

Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)

To ensure compliance with privacy protection obligations, a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) is completed before the start of every new program and staff review every PIA. The Ministry of Citizens' Services wanted to streamline the process and better understand their users.

Service design and autism services

With autism diagnoses increasing and more families accessing funding every year, the Ministry of Children and Family Development wanted to create a "family-friendly" website that would help parents submit funding requests online and reduce form processing times.

Simplified child care web content

Budget 2018 introduced new funding for child care. Households earning up to $111,000 could receive up to $1,250 a month for child care fees. The Ministry of Children and Family Development wanted to understand the needs of parents to inform new web content and help parents access care.

Accessing government records

Digital prototype displayed on a laptop

The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act enables the public to request and obtain government records. On average, 2 million pages are processed per year. The Ministry of Citizens' Services wanted to develop an application that would improve the service delivery of records access.
